Making a purchase could not be simpler, just add the item(s) you wish to buy by adding them to your 'shopping basket' one at a time, please make sure you add the correctly spelt wording you would like to appear on your topper in the box profided and then click Add to Cart. When you are done, click 'checkout' and choose which postage option you would like.

You will then come to our new one page checkout where you can then entre your details, if you have ordered from us before you will need to login and the form will then be filled in with your saved details for you to then checkout and pay with a debit/credit card via our secure online payment page powered by Sage Pay (Protx). If you haven't ordered from us before please then fill in all the boxes provided and then add any comments about your order at the bottom of the page and click checkout to pay. Once you have paid you will be redirected back to our site and your order will be processed. You will receive an order comfirmation email from us. If you haven't received any emails from us please contact us just incase we have received your order and payment.

Our Toppers

All toppers are designed and printed to order using edible inks and icing sheets. The design may vary slighty to the ones shown on our website, the colours shown on our designs when printed may darken and appear a different shade due to printing onto icing with edible inks. You don't get the same colours and shades as you would when printing normally onto photo glossy paper. When printing your topper we do take great care in trying to print your topper to a high standard but sometime our toppers don't line up and maybe 2-3mm out and there will be an over lap onto the backing sheet. Thats why some of our topper eg. the A4 topper may need to be cut to size. All our designs are made from using images which need to be enlarged and somethings the image used may be a little out of focus when printed with edible inks but once placed on a cake and decorated you wouldn't notice.

Free Postage (UK Only) On all cake topper orders -and all orders are sent 1st class within 24hours of the order being placed online or same day if we can, all orders placed over the weekend are posted on monday (excluding bank holidays)

All cake topper orders placed on line includes free delivery within the UK. All cake topper orders will be sent via royal mail 1st class and should arrive within 3-5 working days. This time frame includes 1 day for your order to be printed and posted. This is only an estimate and isn't guanteened as we can't control royal mail and sometimes post is delayed and can take upto 15 working days to arrive so please order in plenty of time as our toppers have a min of 6 months shelf life.

We ship to the UK and the following European Countries only:

Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.

All items will be packaged in A4 cardboard backed envelopes and any additional packaging necessary to reduce the chance of damage in transit..

Once payment has been received we will aim to dispatch your order within 2 working days. Please allow 2 days for orders to be printed and dispatched. Orders which have been placed friday pm onwards, due to the high volumn of orders placed over the weekends orders are now being dispatched mon/tues, please pay for special if you need the items before thursday the following week, free shipping may not arrive on time.

Items should arrive within the following timescale, however we can not guarantee this on behalf of the Royal Mail, therefore please allow 28 days for delivery.

You must wait 15 working days before contacting us about a missing parcel and 20 working days for european orders, only after this time we can file a claim and send out a replacement order. Standard delivery and Airmail only includes £32 insurance cover, so if you order is over £32 in value then we strongly reconmend you send your order with a special delivery which includes £500 insurance.

Uk / channel Islands and European Countries Postage Rates

• UK Free shipping 3-5 days ( Non urgent orders)
  Parcels will be sent with Royal mail 1st  class and should arrive within 3-5 working days. Please allow longer during Bank Holidays. Insured up to £32. No Tracking. If you don't have a postcode them you must pick international signed for as your postage option and pick your country when you check out. 

• Special Saturday Delivery (Must order before 10pm thurs night) ( Urgent and High Value Orders) from £8.45 and then will increase depedning on the weight of your order. You must order before 10pm Thurs Night for you order to arrive saturday between 8-1pm) Tracking available and insured up to £500. 
• Special 2 Day Delivery ( Must order before 10pm for 2 working day delivery)- from £6.25 and will then increase depending on the weight of your order
  You must order before 10pm for you order to dispatched the next working day, doesn't include weekends or bank holidays. Then your order will arrive the following working day. So if you order before 10pm monday night your order will arrive wednesday. This option is for Urgent and High Value Orders and is Insured up to £500. Tracking available.

• Airmail Europe International Signed For (5-9 days Delivery Time)- from 6.85 and will then increase depending on the weight of your order
  Order being sent to europe are sent via International signed for where your item must be signed for a proof of delivery and is quickest service we offer. Parcels are insured up to £32. (There is a maximum weight for this service of 2kgs and he dimensions of the box cannot add up to more than 90cm i.e Height + Length + Width) We will contact you if this happens and your order can't be sent.

 Returns Policy

We at Edible Cake Toppers are confident that you will be happy with your purchase(s) but if your topper arrives with incorrect wording which we have printed wrong we will then send out a replacement. If this isn't the case no cake toppers can be returned due to food hygiene regulations.

All our toppers are printed to order and are bespoke and can't be returned if ordered in error, or didn't arrive in time. Please order in plenty of time to avoid disappointment all our toppers have a min of 6 month shelf life. No toppers can be returned for any other reason. Please note that if you damage the item in use by using a sharpe knife or in any other method not mentioned on the instruction sheet we take no responsibility for this and will not issue a refund under any circumstances. If you find the icing sheet not coming of the backing sheet after following the instruction sheet and after using the freezer and oven method, you must return the item to us undamaged for us to test before we can offer any sort of refund and for us to determine if the product is faulty or down to customer error. Please ensure that you follow the instructions and remember you can always call us for advice.

If items are received damaged then we must be contacted within 48 hours of delivery to discuss what is wrong with the item(s). The damaged item(s) will need to be returned to us with all the original packing and parts. Postage costs incurred by the customer in order to send it back to us will be refunded. A replacement will then be sent out (subject to stock availability) or if not available then a refund will be given which will include the postage cost originally paid by the customer. Refunds will be issued within 30 days.

If the product is to be returned due to packing error or administration error then you are entitled to a full refund within 7 days. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Incorrectly ordered or unwanted goods can't be returned due to food hygiene reasons. Only damaged items must be returned within 7 days of the date of receipt to be eligible for a refund. Returning of items is the responsibility of the customer who is liable for the cost of returns. The customer must ensure all reasonable care is taken to ensure the safe return of items and in their original packaging where appropriate. If the item(s) returned come in sealed packs, these must be unopened.

We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit that are returned to us. It is your responsibility to return the item(s) to us, we therefore recommend that you send the package by Recorded / Special Delivery.

Privacy Policy

We at Edible Cake Toppers respect our customers privacy and do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Any information disclosed to us is only used by us for the order and dispatch process. The only information that we see is your name, address, phone number and email address. Your email address may be used to send you a newsletter but only if you subscribed to it, you can also subscribe or unsubscribe at any time by logging in to your account.

The Merchant that we use is Paypal and Sage Pay which automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using 'Secure Sockets Layer Protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits. Look out for the yellow padlock in the bottom right of your browser as you enter the Checkout section of our site. We do not see any of your credit card information as this is dealt with directly by Paypal and Sage Pay. We are Paypal and Sage Pay verified (see logo on homepage) which means Paypal have checked our details to ensure we are who we say we are. Feel free to click on the logo to check this for yourselves.

 Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your order you must contact us in writing via email to info@ediblecaketoppers.co.uk and quote your order number and a reason why you would like to cancel within 1 hour of placing your order. Your order won't be cancelled or refunded until you receive a reply from us saying we have cancelled it, if we have already printed your toppers no orders can then be refunded.
