We at Edible Cake Toppers are confident that you will be happy with your purchase(s) but if your topper arrives with incorrect wording which we have printed wrong we will then send out a replacement. If this isn't the case no cake toppers can be returned due to food hygiene regulations.
All our toppers are printed to order and are bespoke and can't be returned if ordered in error, or didn't arrive in time. Please order in plenty of time to avoid disappointment all our toppers have a min of 6 month shelf life. No toppers can be returned for any other reason. Please note that if you damage the item in use by using a sharpe knife or in any other method not mentioned on the instruction sheet we take no responsibility for this and will not issue a refund under any circumstances. If you find the icing sheet not coming of the backing sheet after following the instruction sheet and after using the freezer and oven method, you must return the item to us undamaged for us to test before we can offer any sort of refund and for us to determine if the product is faulty or down to customer error. Please ensure that you follow the instructions and remember you can always call us for advice.
All toppers are designed and printed to order using edible ink and icing sheets. The design may vary slighty to the ones shown on our website, the colours shown on our designs when printed may darken and appear a different shade due to printing onto icing with edible inks. You don't get the same colours and shades as you would when printing normally onto photo glossy paper. When printing your topper we do take great care in trying to print your topper to a high standard but sometime our toppers don't line up and maybe 2-3mm out and there will be an over lap onto the backing sheet. Thats why some of our topper eg. the A4 topper may need to be cut to size. All our designs are made from using images which need to be enlarged and somethings the image used may be a little out of focus when printed with edible inks but once placed on a cake and decorated you wouldn't notice.
If items are received damaged then we must be contacted within 48 hours of delivery to discuss what is wrong with the item(s). The damaged item(s) will need to be returned to us with all the original packing and parts. Postage costs incurred by the customer in order to send it back to us will be refunded. A replacement will then be sent out (subject to stock availability) or if not available then a refund will be given which will include the postage cost originally paid by the customer. Refunds will be issued within 30 days.
If the product is to be returned due to packing error or administration error then you are entitled to a full refund within 7 days. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Incorrectly ordered or unwanted goods can't be returned due to food hygiene reasons. Only damaged items must be returned within 7 days of the date of receipt to be eligible for a refund. Returning of items is the responsibility of the customer who is liable for the cost of returns. The customer must ensure all reasonable care is taken to ensure the safe return of items and in their original packaging where appropriate. If the item(s) returned come in sealed packs, these must be unopened.
We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit that are returned to us. It is your responsibility to return the item(s) to us, we therefore recommend that you send the package by Recorded / Special Delivery.
